HYDRAULIC WHEEL DRIVE

Optional HDS for Assisted Wheel Drive

ACJ’s optional hydraulic wheel drive system is developed for demanding working environments with a focus on efficient power transfer and straightforward operation.

The system combines a complete axle with integral differential lock, drum brakes, hydraulic motor and electronic control based on the Danfoss PLUS+1® platform.

It can operate in automatic or manual mode. With an ISOBUS-ready tractor, automatic operation can synchronise the assisted axle with the tractor’s forward movement, reverse movement and braking.

Customer material states that the system’s efficiency can provide up to 25% power saving from the tractor compared with other assisted drive systems.
